If you thought Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrat representative of New York, couldn’t get any crazier, listen to this. AOC said, “If Republicans are mad they can’t date me; they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet.” Saying this in response to some conservatives calling out her recent actions.
While New York is almost back in complete lockdown because of rising Covid cases, AOC was seated outside at a Japanese restaurant eating and drinking cocktails. Further proving that Democrats do not actually believe mandates work—why else would AOC fly to Miami to enjoy a very mandate-free state.
All this while New York reportedly has new records for covid cases reported almost every single day recently. Last Thursday alone, they reported 74,207 new positives, Omicron has hit in full force, and many New York hospitals are already being stretched thin once again.
Beloved Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his social media team even got in on the action.
Remember, this little stunt comes after AOC was highly critical of Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz for flying to Cancun earlier this year as Texas faced heavy storms. AOC went as far as to say, “Ted, this is pretty rich coming from someone who fled their own home (and responsibilities) during an environmental crisis to cross the border and seek refuge in Mexico. Maybe Mexico shouldn’t let YOU in the next time you try to run away from your job to sip umbrella drinks in Cancún.”
AOC has always been quick to criticize but has plenty of her own shortcomings. Let’s take a look at a few of her other high-profile screw-ups:
